Figure Skating Jump Landings – Part 1 (Page Lipe)

Page Lipe discusses checking out of jumps.  This is a great video for anyone with skaters having problems dropping their free hip or losing control of their shoulders on landing.  I’ve never seen the “arrow drill” before but it makes the free foot motion easy for the skater to understand.  The “elbow in opposition” concept and drill are great for skaters to feel the correct motions.
