Olympic coach Michelle Leigh discusses taking a single toe loop to the double. This is a continuation of her discussion of how to teach a toe loop and toe loop entrances. In this short video she emphasizes the need to keep rehearsing the exercises to feel the quickness of the feet.
She also continues her focus on proper head positioning. Again notice that Michelle has the free (non-picking) leg come through straight and not bent in an ‘h-position.” That makes the weight transfer into rotation faster and much more efficient for this jump.
The end of this video seems to get cut off abruptly because we ran out of video tape just as she was finishing this clip and we decided not to go back and re-shoot it. All of the essential information is here.
